Cueword ("we", "us", "our") is a product of Cue Learn Private Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Cueword mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Cueword is designed for children in grades 3 through 10 (approximately ages 8-16). We take the privacy of children seriously and comply with applicable laws including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA).

A child cannot create a Cueword account independently. Account creation requires a parent or guardian email address. By creating an account on behalf of your child, you consent to the collection and use of your child's information as described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When a parent creates an account, we collect:

Parents may optionally upload a profile picture from the device's photo library to personalize the child's account. The image is stored in our backend (Supabase Storage) and is visible only within the child's own account. Profile photos can be removed at any time from Profile → tap photo → reset.

We do not collect precise geolocation, contacts, photos or media (other than a profile picture the parent explicitly chooses to upload), or browsing history.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not display advertisements in Cueword.

You can delete your child's account directly from within the app by navigating to Profile → Delete Account. Account deletion permanently removes all associated data, including activity results, progress, skill profiles, and session history. This action cannot be undone.

9. Push Notifications

Cueword may send push notifications (daily practice reminders, weekly progress digests) via Firebase Cloud Messaging. Notifications are delivered using a device push token stored in our database. You can disable notifications at any time through your device's system settings or the in-app notification toggle in Profile.
